Microsoft Systems Administrator

We are a managed IT solutions provider serving our customers for nearly 10 years.

We are looking for a Microsoft administrator to work in a mixed environment to help manage existing Microsoft business solutions in our infrastructure and that of our clients, as well as to engineer new solutions with the latest technologies.

We currently manage to following software:

• Windows XP Pro
• Windows 2003 Server / 2003 Server 64-bit / 2008 Server
• Exchange Server 2000 / Exchange Server 2003 / Exchange Server 2007
• SQL Server 2000 / SQL Server 2005 64-bit
• Active Directory, DNS, Global Catalogue
  
• IIS 5, IIS 6 & IIS 7
  
• Terminal Services
• Roaming Profiles, GPOs, etc.

We employ these technolgies in:

• Customer locations
• Our offices
• The infrastructure in our two datacenters

Our customers work in mixed environments requiring both Open Source and Microsoft solutions.  We work with a variety of companies of sizes ranging from 5-person operations to well known corporations.

We require someone who is:

• Self-motivated and able to work with a team
• Fully immersed in IT and Microsoft solutions, always experimenting, always curious
  
• Must be a very good problem solver, not just "book smart"
• Must handle stress well
• Must have excellent customer service skills
  
• Must be bilingual

Our staff often:

• Responds to emergency situations 24/7
  
• Works with the team to manage availability
• Goes on-site whenever necessary

We require:

• Bilingual, written and spoken
• Education specifically related to IT
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft products
  
• Solid understanding of AD, DNS, IIS, FTP, MSSQL & Terminal Services
  

Great additions:

• Own your own vehicle
• MCP, MCSE, or other certification
  
• Experience in customer service
• Experience as a support specialist
• Experience at an ISP
• Knowledge of HTML/ASP/ASP .NET
